My name is Terra, and I believe there is an inextricable connection between the mind, body, and spirit. I also believe that the practice of yoga is one of the most beautiful vehicles to unite these components, and embrace and empower our higher self. I originally began practicing yoga as a method of managing stress and increasing my flexibility. I had participated in sprint triathlons for several years, and I wanted to explore something new. I quickly fell in love with the practice of yoga. The opportunity to step onto my mat, and quiet the noise of the world for an hour became my safe haven. Then, when I was faced with a major life change and great deal of trauma, my yoga practice became a sacred place of healing. I am passionate about teaching yoga. It has become one of my greatest joys and most valuable abilities to share with others. In addition to earning my 200 YTT hour certification, I also have a BA in psychology from ASU. When Iā€™m not practicing yoga, you can find me hiking a mountain, going for a run, enjoying my family, and traveling on adventures with friends. No matter how hard your journey may be, life is still worth living. Step onto your mat, and allow your breath to navigate the path to your higher self.
